Introduction and Rationale

      Nowadays, everyone knows that English is not only the language they should know but also use it effectively because of the globalization which opens every border of each country and connect people with different cultural and ethnical backgrounds together. Furthermore, in 2015, Thailand will become a part of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), which makes communicating with other Asian peoples a must. According to the survey on English proficiency of Thai students, it said that they are ranked 43rd in Asia and below the average. That finding is appalling and gets attention to speed up the English language development among Thai students so they can beat up with the students from other countries in Asia.

      The educational system is the most vital factor for the development of Thai students’ English proficiency. However, some educational establishments in Thailand are still lacking in effective and interesting instructional media. In addition, teaching staff with good command of English is more needed. Consequently, our team wants to offer the instructional media with quality accessible to students, English teachers and interested public everywhere in Thailand. The website we created called www.englishcream.in.th is our effort and intention to develop the English proficiency of Thai students via the complete instruction as a helping hand for English teachers to a greater or lesser extent.
